"Veteran" Sequel "I, The Executioner" Surpasses 2 Million Moviegoers In Just 3 Days
Just one day after surpassing 1 million moviegoers, “I, the Executioner” (also known as “Veteran 2”) has doubled its count!
According to the Korean Film Council, on September 15, “I, the Executioner”—the new sequel to the hit 2015 film “Veteran”—officially reached a total of 2,095,936 moviegoers.
The movie first hit theaters on September 13, meaning that it reached the milestone on just the third day of its release. As a result, “I, the Executioner” is now the fastest film of 2024 to hit the 2 million mark—beating both “Exhuma” and “The Roundup: Punishment” (both of which took four days).
To celebrate the film’s new achievement, “I, the Executioner” stars Jung Hae In, Hwang Jung Min, Ahn Bo Hyun, Jang Yoon Joo, and Shin Seung Hwan posed for a group photo with director Ryoo Seung Wan thanking audiences for showing their movie so much love.
Congratulations to the movie’s cast and crew!
