“I, the Executioner” (also known as “Veteran 2”) continues to outpace its prequel!
On September 21, the Korean Film Council announced that as of early that morning, “I, the Executioner” had officially reached a total of 5,023,539 moviegoers.
It took less than nine days for “I, the Executioner” to hit the 5 million mark: the new sequel to the hit 2015 film “Veteran” was originally released on September 13.
Notably, “I, the Executioner” reached the milestone faster than the original “Veteran” film (which took 10 days), as well as “Exhuma” (10 days), “The Roundup” (10 days), and “12.12: The Day” (14 days).
