Jung So Min Gets Shy On Her First Date With Jung Hae In On "Love Next Door"
tvN’s “Love Next Door” has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming episode!
“Love Next Door” is a romantic comedy by the director and writer of the hit drama “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.” Jung So Min stars as Bae Seok Ryu, a woman who tries to reboot her troubled life after it goes awry. Jung Hae In plays her mom’s friend’s son Choi Seung Hyo, whom she considers a dark and embarrassing chapter in her life.

On the previous episode of “Love Next Door,” it was only after the “expiration date” of Choi Seung Hyo’s confession had passed that Bae Seok Ryu finally realized the full extent of her feelings for him. When she rushed to tell him how she felt, he responded by kissing her.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Bae Seok Ryu can’t help getting shy around Choi Seung Hyo after their first kiss. As the two of them sit side by side drinking banana milk together, Bae Seok Ryu is adorably unable to meet his gaze. Choi Seung Hyo, on the other hand, can’t seem to take his eyes off Bae Seok Ryu as he smiles in contentment.
Another photo captures Bae Seok Ryu looking endearingly awkward when the longtime friends venture out on their very first date as a couple.
Meanwhile, Jung Mo Eum (Kim Ji Eun) goes camping with Kang Dan Ho (Yun Ji On) and his daughter. Any lingering awkwardness from their unexpected kiss is long gone, and the two appear completely relaxed around each other as they enjoy their trip together.
However, during a conversation at sunset, Kang Dan Ho looks surprised by something Jung Mo Eum says, piquing curiosity as to what they could be talking about.
The “Love Next Door” production team commented, “Finally, Choi Seung Hyo and Bae Seok Ryu will become lovers and begin Day 1 of their relationship. Their romance will be awkward and youthful—and that will make viewers’ hearts flutter even more.”
They went on to tease, “Please also keep an eye on the special relationship between Jung Mo Eum and Kang Dan Ho—and whether Jung Mo Eum has fully given up on her feelings for him.”
The next episode of “Love Next Door” will air on September 22 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
