JTBC’s upcoming drama “A Virtuous Business” has unveiled a new teaser!
A remake of the British television series “Brief Encounters,” “A Virtuous Business” will tell the story of the independence, growth, and friendship of four women who delve into door-to-door sales of adult products in a rural village back in 1992, when it was still taboo to talk about sex.
The newly released teaser captures the first meeting between the mysterious Kim Do Hyun (Yeon Woo Jin) and “virtuous” housewife Han Jung Sook (Kim So Yeon). The teaser begins with the arrival of Do Hyun, who worked as an ace detective at Seoul Gangnam Police Station after attending high school in the United States. When asked what brought him to the rural town, Kim Do Hyun suspiciously answers, “It just looked like a good place to live.”
At the village, Kim Do Hyun runs into Han Jung Sook, who asks for his help in finding her bag. She pleads, “Please help me. It’s my last hope in life.”
However, when the bag is found, Kim Do Hyun is shocked to see unlikely items such as handcuffs with pink fur and sexy lingerie. Kim Do Hyun skeptically asks, “So you’re saying this is your last hope?”
