Shin Se Kyung Confirmed To Take Over Nana's Role In New Spy Action Film Starring Jo In Sung
Shin Se Kyung is officially joining the highly anticipated spy film “Humint”!
On September 23, it was reported that Shin Se Kyung will be replacing Nana in the upcoming movie “Humint.”
In response to the report, Shin Se Kyung’s agency The Present Company confirmed, “Shin Se Kyung is confirmed to star in ‘Humint,’ where she will play the role of Chae Sun Hwa, a worker at a North Korean restaurant.”
“Humint” is a spy action film that focuses on the conflict between North and South Korean agents as they investigate criminal activities near the Vladivostok border.
Initially, the film had confirmed a star-studded cast in June, including Jo In Sung, Park Jung Min, Park Hae Joon, and Nana. However, due to scheduling conflicts, Nana had to step down, leading to Shin Se Kyung taking over her role.
Helmed by director Ryoo Seung Wan of hit films such as “Escape from Mogadishu,” “Smugglers,” and the “Veteran” series, “Humint” will mark Shin Se Kyung’s first return to the big screen in 10 years since her appearance in “Tazza: The Hidden Card” in 2014.
“Humint” is set to begin filming soon.
While waiting, watch Shin Se Kyung in “Black Knight”:
