Disney+’s upcoming original series “Gangnam B-Side” has announced its premiere date and unveiled a gripping teaser!

“Gangnam B-Side” is a crime drama that follows a detective, a prosecutor, and a mysterious broker as they each pursue different leads in a case that lurks beneath the surface of Gangnam. Their mission is to find the missing ace of a club, Jae Hee. Directed and written by Park Nu Ri, who also directed the hit film “Money,” the series features a fresh cast, including Jo Woo Jin, Ji Chang Wook, Ha Yun Kyung, and BIBI. The film promises to deliver an engaging experience with its strong direction and performances.

The newly released trailer showcases a striking contrast between day and night in Gangnam, instantly grabbing viewers’ attention. It features the intriguing phrase, “The world they play in beneath the world we live in,” as it shifts from a quiet, monochromatic cityscape to a vibrant burst of visuals and sound. This dramatic change creates a fresh shock, making it hard to believe both worlds coexist under the same sky and increasing curiosity about the story the project will tell.

The trailer features a voice stating, “Gangnam is in chaos because of you. Everyone is just looking for Jae Hee (BIBI),” as Jae Hee looks frightened and wanders through the dark streets. It also introduces the furious detective Kang Dong Woo (Jo Woo Jin), the enigmatic broker Yoon Gil Ho (Ji Chang Wook), and the stoic prosecutor Min Seo Jin (Ha Yun Kyung). Each character carries their own secrets, suggesting an unpredictable storyline and increasing anticipation for the project.

Jo Woo Jin, known for his roles in “Inside Men” and “Kingmaker: The Fox of the Election,” stars as detective Kang Dong Woo, who returns to solve the case. He perfectly captures the complexities of his character, adding realism to the story.

Ji Chang Wook, recognized for his performances in “The K2,” “Backstreet Rookie,” and “Lovestruck in the City,” plays Yoon Gil Ho, a lawless figure in Gangnam who places himself on the suspect list. Ji Chang Wook has undergone a complete transformation to portray his character, creating an unprecedented and striking change that captivates viewers with his distinctive presence.

Ha Yun Kyung, who impressed audiences with her roles in “Hospital Playlist” and “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” portrays Min Seo Jin, a prosecutor pursuing a case as a chance for advancement, delivering a flawless performance alongside Ji Chang Wook.

Lastly, BIBI, who has established herself as an actor with a strong filmography that includes “Hopeless” and “The Worst of Evil,” plays Jae Hee, the top ace at the Gangnam club and the trigger for the incident. She is expected to enhance the film’s sense of immersion.

“Gangnam B-Side” is set to premiere on November 6 via Disney+.
