“What Comes After Love” is a new romance drama based on the bestselling joint novel by Korean writer Gong Ji Young and Japanese writer Tsuji Hitonari. The novel tells the love story of a Korean woman named Hong (Lee Se Young) and a Japanese man named Jungo (Sakaguchi Kentaro) who meet and fall in love in Japan then reunite in Korea five years after their breakup.
The newly released stills previewing the first two episodes give a sneak peek of Hong and Jungo’s relationship.
Hong, who left for Japan in search of her dreams, receives help from Jungo, and the two become attracted to one another. As they continue to meet due to coincidences, Hong and Jungo gradually grow closer and eventually become a couple. The first episode will capture the heart-fluttering moments from Hong and Jungo’s fate-like first meeting to when they start their relationship.
In episode 2, Hong and Jungo meet again at the airport after five years have passed, exuding completely different vibes from the first episode.
