Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2024, October Week 1
DAY6 score their first No. 1 song on our chart as “Melt Down” moves up one spot to the top after spending the last three weeks at No. 2. Congratulations to DAY6!
Debuting at No. 2 is NCT WISH’s “Steady,” the title track from their first mini album of the same name. “Steady” expresses the sincere feelings of steadily continuing a miraculous encounter.
Moving up six spots to round up the top three is aespa’s former No. 1 song “Armageddon.”
Two more new songs debuted in the top 10 this week.
QWER’s “My Name Is Malguem” debuts at No. 5 this week. Written by (G)I-DLE’s Jeon Soyeon, “My Name Is Malguem” is a rock song with lyrics conveying the determination to move forward bravely even after experiencing pain or sadness.
FIFTY FIFTY’s “SOS,” the title track from their second mini album “Love Tune,” debuts at No. 9. “SOS” is a fairytale-like dance song with dreamy synth sounds and energetic rhythms.
