Exclusive: ENHYPEN Brings On The Charm As They Kick-Start Their "WALK THE LINE" World Tour At Goyang Stadium
ENHYPEN has successfully kicked off their “WALK THE LINE” world tour!
On October 5 and 6, ENHYPEN heralded the start of their third world tour “WALK THE LINE” at Goyang Stadium in Korea, marking their first domestic stadium concert.
Captivating audiences with “Brought The Heat Back” and “FEVER,” the members took to the stage to greet ENGENE (ENHYPEN’s fan club). Despite the cold and rainy weather, Sunoo promised, “We will make you warm with our passion.” The members continued to express their sincerity and love for ENGENE. Hyping up the crowd, Jay recited, “ENHYPEN’s [visuals] are better in real life than on screen! There is no tomorrow. There is only today with ENHYPEN.”
Following group performances of “ParadoXXX Invasion,” “Future Perfect (Pass the MIC),” and “Given-Taken,” the members performed unit songs including Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon’s “Lucifer” as well as Jungwon, Heeseung, Sunoo, and Ni-ki’s “Teeth.” Starting with Jay’s electric guitar intro, the members reunited on stage to perform “Blessed Cursed,” maintaining the fierce energy on the stage with “Fatal Trouble” and “Bite Me.”
Further connecting with their audience, ENHYPEN enthusiastically greeted fans, walking around the stadium stage and warming up the crowd by singing “Highway 1009” and “Not For Sale” together with the crowd.
Jungwon mentioned, “I’m not sure who made the song, but isn’t ‘Highway 1009’ so good?” discretely complimenting Heeseung for producing the song. Sunoo and Jay asked fans about the unit performances, which they showcased for the first time at a concert, and the members didn’t spare any compliments for each other.
With the crowd warmed up, ENHYPEN wowed audiences with more fan-favorite songs including “Your Eyes Only,” “Orange Flower,” “Scream,” “Tamed-Dashed,” “Sweet Venom,” and “Go Big or Go Home,” filling up the stage with energetic performances. Following a brief VCR, ENHYPEN returned to the main stage to perform “Hundred Broken Hearts,” “Still Monster,” and “Moonstruck.”
As the concert came to a close, each of the members bid their final farewells. Jay shared, “I feel proud that you all had an enjoyable time. This concert is one that captures our many know-hows that we gained from visiting many cities.” Sunoo continued, “It’s the start of the ‘WALK THE LINE’ tour, and we will work hard going forward. It will be great if ENGENE will be with us until the end,” expressing how emotional he felt.
Jungwon shared, “We lived in the practice rooms while preparing for the tour.” Recalling a touching fan letter he received, Jungwon expressed that he wants to continue to impress ENGENE. Sunghoon remarked, “It’s our first time having such a big-scale concert in Korea. I was nervous yesterday, but after holding the concert once yesterday, I can really enjoy it to the fullest.” Sunghoon also teased the release of their upcoming repackaged album, amping up excitement from the crowd.
Jake candidly shared, “I really like this set list.” He continued, “As 2024 wraps up, we are talking about how we want to spend 2025,” sharing their plans to go even higher next year. Heeseung shared, “It’s fascinating how four years ago, we couldn’t have dreamed of performing in front of so many ENGENE,” conveying his gratitude to fans and talking about overcoming hardships with the thoughtful members by his side. Ni-ki wrapped up the final talk segment by sharing, “I believe this tour will become a meaningful one,” promising more to come with their “WALK THE LINE” tour. He commented, “I was particularly nervous, and there were many moments I was worried about, but I could complete this performance without mistakes thanks to ENGENE’s warm support.”
Concluding their concert, Heeseung gave a solo piano performance that segued into “XO.” The group bid farewell with “Paranormal,” only to return and greet ENGENE one last time with their exciting encore performances.
Following their successful concerts in Korea, ENHYPEN will visit Japan for a dome tour, starting with Saitama’s Belluna Dome on November 9 and 10. The group will then head to Fukuoka’s Mizuho PayPay Dome on December 28 and 29 and Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on January 25 and 26.
