T-ara's Jiyeon And Hwang Jae Gyun File For Divorce
T-ara’s Jiyeon and professional baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun will part ways with each other.
On October 5, JTBC News reported that Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun filed for divorce mediation last month.
In response to the reports, Jiyeon’s legal representative Law Firm Taesung shared, “Both sides could not overcome their differences, and they filed for divorce mediation at the Seoul Family Court after agreeing on divorce following separation. We sincerely ask that you refrain from making provocative reports and speculative comments.”
Jiyeon further shared the following official statement through her legal representative:
Hello. This is Jiyeon.
First, I want to convey my apologies for greeting you with such unfortunate news.
We mutually agreed to proceed with divorce mediation.
We ask for your generous understanding regarding the delay in making an official statement.
I will do my best to greet you as a better version of myself in the future.

Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun tied the knot on December 10, 2022.
