Kim Myung Min, Lee Shin Young, Park Hae Soo, And Park Yoo Rim Confirmed To Star In New Revenge Film
Kim Myung Min, Lee Shin Young, Park Hae Soo, and Park Yoo Rim are set to star in a new film together!
On October 7, distribution company Mindmark announced that filming for “Sad Tropics” (literal translation) began on September 19. The cast includes Kim Myung Min, Lee Shin Young, Park Hae Soo, and Park Yoo Rim.
Directed by Park Hoon Jung of “New World” and the “The Witch” series, “Sad Tropics” follows children in a killer organization called Sad Tropics, led by a master in the rainforest. After an event that disrupts their lives, they grow suspicious of each other and vow to seek revenge.
Kim Myung Min plays a master who rules over the rainforest and trains abandoned children to become killers. Lee Shin Young portrays Lu, a character who was left in the jungle as a child. Despite being born deaf, Lu survives as the youngest member of Sad Tropics.
Park Yoo Rim portrays Jojo, who ventures into the jungle on her own to follow the master. Park Hae Soo plays Jang, the eldest member of the Sad Tropics organization, where he is expected to make a significant impact. Joining them are leading Taiwanese actors, including rising star Austin Lin, veteran actor Chen Yi Wen, and Wang Po Chieh, who won Best Actor at the 2023 Taipei Film Festival, increasing anticipation for the film.
