Lee Je Hoon Confirmed To Reprise His Role In "Taxi Driver 3" + Pyo Ye Jin And Kim Eui Sung Reported To Join
It’s official—the Rainbow Taxi service will soon be back in business!
On October 8, Sports Seoul reported that Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, and Kim Eui Sung will be reprising their roles for “Taxi Driver 3.”
In response to the reports, a source from Lee Je Hoon’s agency Company ON revealed, “Lee Je Hoon is confirmed to star in SBS’s drama ‘Taxi Driver 3.'” Previously, the drama was confirmed to return with Season 3, but the production team was still in talks with the cast members regarding the possibility of their return.
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Taxi Driver” is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that delivers vengeance on behalf of victims who are unable to get justice through the law.
Season 1 of the drama first aired in 2021, and after its successful run, the drama returned for Season 2 in 2023, with the finale breaking past 20 percent and setting the record for the highest ratings achieved by a miniseries in 2023. Lee Je Hoon also snagged the Daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards for his performance in “Taxi Driver 2.”
“Taxi Driver 3” will reportedly begin filming in the second half of this year and is slated to air in 2025. Stay tuned for updates!
