Kim Woo Seok And Kang Na Eon's New Rom-Com Drama Confirms Cast Lineup And Broadcast Schedule
The upcoming web drama “Zero Period Is Insider’s Time” (literal title) has confirmed its cast lineup!
Along with Kim Woo Seok and Kang Na Eon who were confirmed for the drama back in July, Choi Geon, Son Dong Pyo, and Han Chae Rin have now also been confirmed for the cast.
“Zero Period Is Insider’s Time” follows the story of an outsider who becomes the manager of “Insider Time,” an anonymous community app that holds all the secrets of the entire school. As she gets entangled with the most popular clique she once yearned to join, a secret romance ensues.
Kim Woo Seok will portray Kang Woo Bin, a popular student idolized by the entire school and a trainee at a major entertainment company. Despite his outward perfection in looks and academics, he harbors a secret that he can’t let anyone discover. Notably, this will be Kim Woo Seok’s last drama before he enlists in the military in November.
Kang Na Eon will play Kim Ji Eun, a high school student who, despite being a complete outsider with zero presence, wishes to be popular. Kim Ji Eun is pure and innocent, with a quirky personality and a tender heart. One day, she unexpectedly gains administrator privileges to Insider Time, an app used by the whole school that contains all of their secrets.
Choi Geon will play Lee Dong Min, a prickly but irresistibly charming boy who appears cold to most but has a soft spot for one girl. After transferring schools, he meets Kim Ji Eun and finds himself tangled up in her life, while also feeling an inexplicable jealousy toward Kang Woo Bin.
Son Dong Pyo takes on the role of Mo Bong Gu, the school’s go-to source for all insider information. With a nickname like “Motor Mouth,” Mo Bong Gu is known for his non-stop chatter, but behind that rapid speech lies a kind-hearted character who gets along with everyone. However, even he finds himself struggling to speak clearly in front of a particular person. Fans are especially eager to see Son Dong Pyo’s first foray into acting, as he brings his bright energy and charm to the role.
Lastly, Han Chae Rin will portray Min Seol Hee, the perfect class president who excels at everything she does. In addition to her stellar academics, Min Seol Hee is also a successful online shopping mall CEO and a YouTube creator.
“Zero Period Is Insider’s Time” will consist of eight episodes and will air on Cinema Heaven in November.
