Lee Yi Kyung Is A Smooth-Talking Plastic Surgeon In Upcoming Drama "Face Me"

KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Face Me” has shared a sneak peek of Lee Yi Kyung in character!

“Face Me” is a mystery thriller that follows the unlikely partnership between cold plastic surgeon Cha Jung Woo (Lee Min Ki) and passionate detective Lee Min Hyung (Han Ji Hyun), who team up to solve crime.

Lee Yi Kyung will play the role of Han Woo Jin, a fellow plastic surgeon who has been close friends with Cha Jung Woo since their high school days. Despite being best friends who are even closer than family, the two doctors are completely different when it comes to their personalities.

In contrast to the ice-cold Cha Jung Woo, the sharp and clever Han Woo Jin may look intimidating on the outside, but he is actually a friendly guy who can’t stop himself from getting involved in other people’s business. The handsome and confident surgeon wants to “gift” beauty to all the women in the world, and he doesn’t shy away from advertising his services: in one still from the upcoming drama, he personally scouts a potential patient by boldly handing his business card to a woman in a club.

The “Face Me” production team remarked, “Through his unique performance, Lee Yi Kyung will make the character of Han Woo Jin stand out even more and lead the drama in an entertaining direction.”

They went on to tease, “Lee Yi Kyung and Lee Min Ki are close in real life as well, and they will not only add to the fun of the story with their special bromance chemistry, but they will also leave a lasting impression on viewers that will linger even after the drama ends. “Face Me” will premiere on November 6 at 9:50 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of KBS 2TV’s currently airing drama “Dog Knows Everything.” Check out the first teaser for the drama here!
