Watch: Lee Yi Kyung, Jo Soo Min, iKON's Junhoe, And Ji Yi Soo Showcase Flawless Performances At Script Reading For New Drama
Channel A’s upcoming weekend drama “Marry YOU” (literal title) has shared a sneak peek of the fantastic chemistry among its cast members!
On October 11, Channel A’s “Marry YOU” released a video and photos from its script reading.
“Marry YOU” is a comedic family drama that follows the romance between Bong Chul Hee (Lee Yi Kyung), a bachelor from a remote island whose life goal is marriage, and Jung Ha Na (Jo Soo Min), a level 7 civil servant who is determined to stay single.
On this day, cast members Lee Yi Kyung, Jo Soo Min, iKON’s Junhoe, Ji Yi Soo, Woo Hyun, Kim Kang Hyun, Kim Mi Ryeo, Ahn Tae Rin, and Seo Woo Jin were in attendance, showcasing perfect chemistry right from their first collaboration.
Lee Yi Kyung, who plays Bong Chul Hee, an innocent bachelor from an island, effortlessly transitioned between lighthearted and serious performances. His lines that were delivered in Chungcheong Province dialect made everyone on set burst into laughter.
Following this, Jo Soo Min captivated the cast and crew by perfectly immersing herself in the role of Jung Ha Na, a civil servant with a strong anti-marriage stance. Jo Soo Min’s delicate portrayal of Jung Ha Na’s emotions left everyone in awe.
Junhoe, who takes on the role of Choi Ki Joon, the team leader of the marriage promotion department that Jung Ha Na is a part of, brought his character to life with his handsome looks and gentle manner of speaking while also deeply conveying the inner pain that Choi Ki Joon secretly harbors.
Last but not least, Ji Yi Soo perfectly portrayed Oh In Ah, the eldest daughter of a wealthy conglomerate who possesses beauty, wealth, and a great personality, with her unique vibrant and positive energy.
