Han Suk Kyu's 'Doubt' Premieres To Double Its Predecessor's Ratings

MBC’s new drama “Doubt” is off to a strong start!

On October 11, the mystery thriller starring Han Suk Kyu, Han Ye Ri, and Chae Won Bin premiered to promising viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Doubt” scored an average nationwide rating of 5.6 percent—double the ratings achieved by the premiere of its predecessor “Black Out,” the drama that previously occupied its time slot (and which premiered to a nationwide average of 2.8 percent).

Meanwhile, SBS’s “The Judge from Hell”—which airs in the same time slot—wrapped up the first half of its run on its highest ratings to date for a Friday. The latest episode of the fantasy drama scored a nationwide average of 11.0 percent, making it the most-watched program of any kind to air that day.
