Shin Hae Sun And Lee Jun Hyuk In Talks To Reunite In New Crime Mystery Drama
Shin Hae Sun and Lee Jun Hyuk may be reuniting in a new drama!
On October 15, JTBC News reported that Shin Hae Sun and Lee Jun Hyuk will star in the new drama “Lady Doir” (literal title).
In response to the report, Shin Hae Sun’s agency NS ENM shared, “[Shin Hae Sun] received an offer for ‘Lady Doir,’ but nothing has been confirmed yet.”
Similarly, Lee Jun Hyuk’s agency ACE FACTORY, also commented on his potential participation in “Lady Doir,” saying, “Nothing has been confirmed, and discussions are ongoing.”
“Lady Doir” is a crime mystery drama that explores the ambitions of a woman who aspires to be a luxury item, even if it’s fake. The script is written by Chu Song Yeon.
Lee Jun Hyuk will portray Park Mu Gyeong, a detective in the Violent Crimes Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. He is known for his sharp insights and ruthless demeanor, often seen in a perfectly tailored suit, which helps contribute to the unit’s high arrest rates.
Shin Hae Sun will play Sarah Kim, a Korean American who creates a fake luxury brand to scam wealthy individuals. The narrative surrounding her character will be carefully developed over the series’ eight episodes.
If Lee Jun Hyuk and Shin Hae Sun accept their casting offers, they will reunite after starring in “Forest of Secrets” (also known as “Stranger”) together, generating excitement for their on-screen chemistry.
Currently, Shin Hae Sun is starring in the drama “Dear Hyeri,” while Lee Jun Hyuk is featured in the TVING original series “Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard,” which is a spin-off of “Forest of Secrets.” Stay tuned for more updates!
