Watch: Lee Min Ki, Park Shin Yang, And Lee Re Are Entangled In Mysterious Events In Trailer For Upcoming Film "Devils Stay"
Get ready for Lee Min Ki, Park Shin Yang, and Lee Re’s upcoming film “Devils Stay”!
“Devils Stay” is an occult horror story that unfolds over three days during a funeral and wake. The plot revolves around an exorcism ritual held to prevent something sinister from awakening in the heart of a deceased daughter.
The newly released posters creatively incorporate the film’s main themes, moths and hearts. The moth poster features moths flying around the motionless body of Cha So Mi (Lee Re), with a red moth perched on her face. This moth creates a surreal effect as it seems to replace So Mi’s closed eyes. In contrast, the heart poster evokes hands holding rosary beads, building excitement for the chilling horror that awaits.
In the accompanying trailer, So Mi lies motionless in a dimly lit, eerie room, while her father Cha Seung Do (Park Shin Yang) gazes at her with a troubled expression. Priest Van (Lee Min Ki)’s intense exorcism adds to the tension, pulling viewers into the fear and urgency of the moment.
In one scene, Priest Van asks, “Where did So Mi’s transplanted heart come from?” So Mi then desperately calls out to her dad just before she mysteriously disappears, while Seung Do shouts in anguish, “What have you done?” These exchanges hint at a dangerous secret tied to So Mi’s heart transplant.
The trailer also shows glimpses of unsettling scenes—a door shrouded in black energy, a sudden swarm of moths, and So Mi acting as if possessed. Priest Van’s ominous warning, “When the time comes, resurrection will occur three days after death,” leaves viewers curious about what horrors will unfold during those three days.
