“The Judge From Hell” Extends Running Time Of Episodes 9 & 10
SBS’s “The Judge from Hell” has extended the running time of its ninth and tenth episodes!
“The Judge from Hell” is a fantasy romance drama starring Park Shin Hye as Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell who has entered the body of a judge. After meeting the compassionate detective Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), who works hard at his job in a reality harsher than hell, Kang Bit Na embarks on a journey to becoming a true judge.
The drama continues to break its own viewership records, solidifying its position as the top Friday-Saturday drama. This achievement is particularly impressive, given that it competes in the same 10 p.m. time slot as three other new shows.
On October 16, the production team of “The Judge from Hell” announced that episodes 9 and 10, scheduled to air on October 18 and 19, respectively, will both be extended to 80 minutes.

So far, the drama has focused on the complicated relationship between Kang Bit Na, a demon inhabiting a judge’s body, and Han Da On, a passionate detective. In episode 2, Bit Na mistook Da On for a murderer and killed him, sending him to hell. Although Da On returned to life, the two have remained wary of each other.
A major twist came at the end of episode 8. When Kim So Young (Kim Hye Hwa), someone Da On deeply cares for, was murdered, suspicion fell on “Serial Killer J,” the same person who killed Da On’s family 25 years ago. Desperate for justice, Da On begged Bit Na to kill the culprit for him. Despite being a demon, Bit Na was so moved by Da On’s grief that she shed tears, leaving viewers stunned. This shift in their relationship will become a key point in the drama’s second half.
The production team teased, “In episodes 9 and 10, airing this week, the story intensifies as Bit Na, now capable of feeling emotions, and Da On, consumed by rage, face new challenges. With a new case involving ‘Serial Killer J’ kicking off, viewers can expect 160 minutes of nonstop excitement. The actors’ performances will be more powerful than ever. Please look forward to it”
The next episode of “The Judge from Hell” will air on October 18 at 10 p.m. KST.
