Han Suk Kyu Is Surprised As Daughter Chae Won Bin Deftly Handles Police Questioning In "Doubt"

MBC’s “Doubt” has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming third episode!

“Doubt” is a new psychological thriller starring Han Suk Kyu as Korea’s top criminal profiler Jang Tae Soo, who unexpectedly discovers that his daughter Ha Bin (Chae Won Bin) is hiding a secret related to a murder case that he is investigating.

On the second episode of “Doubt,” Tae Soo confronted Ha Bin at home and asked her outright if she had killed the murder victim. Ha Bin then caught Tae Soo off guard by responding with some chilling questions about the deaths of her mother and brother—but just as he was shaken by her unexpected reaction, the doorbell rang.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, the detectives investigating the case pay a visit to Ha Bin at home to ask her where she was on the day of the incident. Ha Bin remains utterly calm and composed throughout police questioning, giving them her alibi without so much as batting an eyelash. It is unclear whether her alibi is real—or whether she is fooling the detectives with a convincing lie.

Meanwhile, Tae Soo carefully watches Ha Bin as she expertly handles the police, surprised and disoriented by this unexpected side of his daughter.

The “Doubt” production team teased, “In Episode 3, Ha Bin will play Tae Soo like a fiddle with her lies. As Tae Soo falls into a whirlwind of confusion, you won’t be able to tear your eyes away from the screen as crazy plot developments unfold from the very beginning.
