Kim Jae Young Breaks Down Sobbing In The Rain On 'The Judge From Hell'

SBS’s “The Judge from Hell” has shared a heartbreaking sneak peek of its upcoming episode!

“The Judge from Hell” is a fantasy romance drama starring Park Shin Hye as Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell who has entered the body of a judge. After meeting the compassionate detective Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), who works hard at his job in a reality harsher than hell, Kang Bit Na embarks on a journey to becoming a true judge.

Spoilers

On the previous episode of “The Judge from Hell,” Han Da On—who had always firmly rejected Kang Bit Na’s enticing offer to find and kill J, the serial killer who murdered his entire family—had a major change of heart. After J returned after 25 years and killed Kim So Young (Kim Hye Hwa), the devastated Da On sought out Bit Na and asked her to kill the culprit for him, marking a drastic transformation in his state of mind.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Da On desperately attempts to hold it together during Kim So Young’s funeral ceremony. However, he ultimately winds up bursting into tears and collapsing on the ground in rage and despair. As he breaks down sobbing, it also begins to pour, as if the skies share his sorrow.

The production team of “The Judge from Hell” teased, “In Episode 9, Han Da On will make a dark transformation. His change will also have a major impact on Kang Bit Na’s future punishment of evildoers and her pursuit of the serial killer J.”

They went on to share, “Actor Kim Jae Young endlessly debated how to portray Han Da On’s transformation in a dramatic way, and he poured all of his energy into filming. We ask for viewers’ excitement, interest, and anticipation.”

The next episode of “The Judge from Hell” will air on October 18 at 10 p.m. KST.
