Kim So Yeon Asks Yeon Woo Jin About His Sexual Fantasies In "A Virtuous Business"

Yeon Woo Jin is in for a bit of a shock on the next episode of JTBC’s “A Virtuous Business”!

A remake of the British television series “Brief Encounters,” “A Virtuous Business” tells the story of the independence, growth, and friendship of four women who delve into door-to-door sales of adult products in a rural village back in 1992, when it was still taboo to talk about sex.

Previously on “A Virtuous Business,” Han Jung Sook (Kim So Yeon) faced seemingly endless struggles, insults, and heartbreak due to her controversial new profession and the prejudice that came with it. However, her hefty first paycheck—and her newfound ability to buy nice things for her son and her mother—helped ease some of her pain.

In the drama’s upcoming fourth episode, Han Jung Sook and her sales squad ambitiously come up with a new strategy: using a survey to determine potential customers’ needs. However, the somewhat racy survey leads to an awkward encounter between her and Kim Do Hyun (Yeon Woo Jin), the detective from Seoul who has just been transferred to Jung Sook’s village.

Although Jung Sook gets embarrassed while asking such provocative questions out loud, she valiantly presses on with the survey—and Do Hyun does his best to give proper answers. At one point, she catches him off guard by asking him to name the place where he most wishes to fulfill his sexual fantasies. When Do Hyun hesitates to reply, Jung Sook offers him an adorably innocent smile as she assures him that the survey is anonymous and that his identity will be kept secret.

The drama’s production team commented, “What’s most important is not losing spirit [in the face of adversity]. Together with the now complete ‘Bangpan Sisters’ squad, Jung Sook doesn’t give up and even comes up with a new sales strategy. Meanwhile, Do Hyun—who strangely seems to keep helping Jung Sook and paying attention to her—agrees to take her survey.”

The next episode of “A Virtuous Business” will air on October 20 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
