Lee Min Ki And Lee Yi Kyung Evolve From High School Best Friends To Plastic Surgeon Duo In New Drama 'Face Me'

KBS2’s upcoming drama “Face Me” has released new stills showcasing the close friendship between Lee Min Ki and Lee Yi Kyung!

“Face Me” is a mystery thriller that follows the unlikely partnership between cold plastic surgeon Cha Jung Woo (Lee Min Ki) and passionate detective Lee Min Hyung (Han Ji Hyun), who team up to solve crimes by utilizing reconstructive surgeries for the victims.

Lee Min Ki plays Cha Jung Woo, a skilled plastic surgeon who can quickly spot issues and solutions by observing a patient’s trauma. Lee Yi Kyung takes on the role of Han Woo Jin, who stands out for both his surgical skills and his ability to communicate effectively with patients. Together, with the full support of Chief Director Kim Seok Hoon (Jeon Bae Soo), they lead KSH Plastic Surgery as the hospital’s top doctors.

Jung Woo and Woo Jin, who share similar personalities, tastes, and family backgrounds, became close friends in high school and develop a strong, family-like bond. While they grew up like brothers and support each other, their medical styles differ significantly. Jung Woo is strict with his patients, while Woo Jin aims to enhance the beauty of every woman he meets. Their contrasting yet deep friendship is sure to add a layer of enjoyment to the story.

A seven-year-old incident resurfaces, shaking Jung Woo’s life and bringing his special friendship with Woo Jin into focus. Determined to support Jung Woo, Woo Jin’s reactions to his friend’s struggles will intrigue viewers. As the usually composed Jung Woo begins to waver, the story explores how Woo Jin will navigate this challenge and what decisions he will make. The outcome of their friendship is highly anticipated.

The released stills highlight the doctors in their unique styles, featuring both medical gowns and casual outfits. Their impressive skills are complemented by their striking looks, which grab attention. In another image, the two are dressed in surgical attire, looking at each other seriously, sparking curiosity about how their intriguing chemistry will develop in the story.

The production team said, “Lee Min Ki and Lee Yi Kyung are close friends in real life, and their authentic relationship is reflected in their characters, creating delightful chemistry.” They added, “Viewers can expect a story filled with a strong bromance that will bring both laughter and emotion.”

“Face Me” will premiere on November 6 at 9:50 p.m. KST following the conclusion of KBS2’s currently airing drama “Dog Knows Everything.”
