Son Ye Jin And Ji Chang Wook In Talks For New Historical Drama
Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook may be uniting for a new drama!
On October 24, industry representatives reported that the two stars will be starring in “Scandal” (working title), a Netflix drama remake of the 2003 film “Untold Scandal.”
In response to the report, Son Ye Jin’s agency MSteam Entertainment commented, “Son Ye Jin received a casting offer for Netflix’s ‘Scandal’ and is reviewing the offer.” Ji Chang Wook’s agency Spring Company also responded, “It is true that he received a casting offer,” and added that he is reviewing the offer.
Adapted from the French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” the movie “Untold Scandal” is a historical film set in the Joseon Dynasty. The Netflix remake series will reportedly be directed by Jung Ji Woo, who has worked on productions including “Somebody,” “Tune in for Love,” “Heart Blackened,” “Eungyo,” and “Moss.” The drama is reported to begin filming in March 2025.
