Youn Yuh Jung Confirmed To Join Netflix’s "Beef" Season 2
Academy Award-Winner Youn Yuh Jung is set to star in the second season of Netflix’s hit drama “Beef”!
The new season of “Beef,” consisting of eight episodes, follows the story of a young couple who witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife. This incident sets off a series of chess moves within the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner, a role Youn Yuh Jung will portray.
The first season of the series received critical acclaim and won five Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Limited Series, Outstanding Writing, and Outstanding Lead Actor.
The upcoming season will be directed by Korean creator and showrunner Lee Sung Jin, with Season 1 stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong returning as executive producers.
In addition to her role in “Beef,” Youn Yuh Jung recently appeared in Apple TV+’s “Pachinko” Season 2 and is set to appear in the remake of Ang Lee’s beloved 1993 romantic comedy film “The Wedding Banquet.”
