Lee Jong Won Has A Strong Support System As A Brewery Owner In New Drama "Brewing Love"

ENA’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Brewing Love” has dropped new stills featuring its supporting cast!

“Brewing Love” depicts the heart-fluttering love story between Chae Yong Ju (Kim Se Jeong), a super passionate sales king at a liquor company who hides her emotions, and Yun Min Ju (Lee Jong Won), a super sensitive brewery owner who is adept at catching people’s emotions.

Previously, writer Lee Jung Shin highlighted the comedic elements that emerge from the playful interactions among the residents of the rural village where Yun Min Ju lives.

The recently released photos showcase the residents of Baegok Village, who support Min Ju and enhance the story’s humor. These locals play a vital role, assisting with everything from growing hops—the key ingredient for beer—to helping run Min Ju’s pub. They are the unsung heroes behind the success of the brewmaster Yun Min Ju and are his safe place.

Baek Hyun Joo and Park Ji Ah energize the production with their lively performances as hop farm workers Go Sook Ja and Shim Yeong Ja. Always seen together like sisters, they claim their relationship with Min Ju is strictly professional, but they understand him better than anyone else. In the image below, under a special order from Yun Min Ju, the Yeong Ja and Sook Ja duo stands guard at the village entrance, ready for any surprises.

Jang Hyuk Jin plays the village headman, Chief Lee, a kind-hearted man who is especially vulnerable to power and assists in running Min Ju’s pub.

Jang Won Young portrays Kim Soon Kwan, another hop farm worker who treats his wife Tzuen (Seo Yi Yeon) like a queen. With his friendly smile, he provides comedic relief through his playful “frenemy” dynamic with Chief Lee, promising to entertain the audience.

Lee Jong Won praised the actors for their remarkable performances, saying, “It was amazing how they fully immersed themselves in their roles, as if they actually lived in the village. Watching the other actors inspired me and allowed me to act boldly.” He mentioned that he is most excited to see the scenes featuring the villagers when the show airs.
