Han Suk Kyu Is Desperate To Protect Chae Won Bin After Kim Jung Jin's Murder In "Doubt"
MBC’s “Doubt” has unveiled a suspenseful sneak peek of its upcoming episode!
“Doubt” is a psychological thriller starring Han Suk Kyu as Korea’s top criminal profiler Jang Tae Soo), who unexpectedly discovers that his daughter Ha Bin (Chae Won Bin) is hiding a secret related to a murder case that he is investigating.
Spoilers
The previous episode of “Doubt” ended on a major cliffhanger: Jang Tae Soo rushed to meet Choi Young Min (Kim Jung Jin) after hearing he’d met his daughter—only to find Young Min dead with Ha Bin standing next to him, covered in blood, just as the police arrived on the scene.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Tae Soo is desperate to protect his daughter in a situation where she is at clear risk of becoming the obvious suspect in Young Min’s murder. After hurriedly covering Ha Bin’s mouth and holding her close, Tae Soo urgently scans his surroundings.
This time around, Tae Soo decides to trust Ha Bin, and he makes a significant choice as a result. However, despite her father’s efforts to protect her, Ha Bin makes suspicious moves on her own, such as making a mysterious phone call behind Tae Soo’s back. What is Ha Bin hiding from her father this time, and will Tae Soo’s trust in Ha Bin waver yet again?
Despite all signs at the crime scene seemingly pointing to Ha Bin’s guilt, it’s worth noting that there were other suspects at the scene right before his death: the runaway crew’s landlady Kim Sung Hee (Choi Yu Hwa), her lover Park Joon Tae (Yoo Eui Tae), and his father Doo Cheol (Yoo Oh Sung), who brought Ha Bin to Young Min while pretending to be Song Min Ah’s father.
The “Doubt” production team teased, “Tae Soo will try to protect his daughter Ha Bin, but Ha Bin will make moves on her own while accepting the danger she faces. On top of this, the suspicious actions of the characters involved in this incident will lead to unpredictable plot developments.”
“Due to the actors’ passionate performances and the tightly-woven story, you’ll be unable to tear your eyes away from the screen for a single scene,” they continued, “so please give [the upcoming episode] lots of interest and anticipation.”
The next episode of “Doubt” will air on November 2 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
