Kim Tae Ri Goes All The Way To A Remote Cave To Practice Her Singing In "Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born"
Kim Tae Ri is about to put herself through some grueling vocal training on “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born”!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” is a tvN drama set in the 1950s, shortly after the Korean War. Kim Tae Ri stars as the titular Jeong Nyeon, a young vocal prodigy who dreams of becoming a top traditional theater actor.
Spoilers
On the previous episode of “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born,” Jeong Nyeon reflected on her mistake after being kicked out of the troupe’s production of “Ja Myung Go.” She then found an opportunity to redeem herself when she took over the injured Joo Ran (Woo Davi)’s role, and she succeeded in becoming an official trainee.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Jeong Nyeon heads all the way to a remote cave deep in the mountains in order to practice her singing. Determined to land the part of Ondal in the troupe’s upcoming production, Jeong Nyeon isolates herself and focuses entirely on her vocals in a place devoid of other people.
With a fiery gaze revealing just how dead set she is on winning the role, Jeong Nyeon grabs her lower abdomen and struggles to catch her breath, looking as though she might faint at any second.
As Jeong Nyeon has always been confident in her voice, the image of the singer on her knees in desperation raises the question of why she might feel pressured enough to push herself to her limits.
To find out why Jeong Nyeon goes to such lengths to train her voice—and whether she will succeed in winning the part of Ondal—catch the next episode of “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” on November 3 at 9:20 p.m. KST!
