Lee Min Ki And Seo Young Hee Encounter Tension Over Patient’s Surgery In New Drama “Face Me”
KBS2’s upcoming drama “Face Me” has released new stills ahead of its premiere!
“Face Me” is a mystery thriller that follows the unlikely partnership between cold plastic surgeon Cha Jeong Woo (Lee Min Ki) and passionate detective Lee Min Hyeong (Han Ji Hyun), who team up to solve crimes by utilizing reconstructive surgeries for the victims.
The drama has grabbed the attention of viewers with its unique blend of plastic surgery and crime. As fans look forward to the diverse episodes that will come from this impressive ensemble, thrilling stills have been released, giving a sneak peek into the first episode.
The released still features Cha Jeong Woo confronting patient Oh Ji Yoon’s (Jang Ha Eun’s) mother (Seo Young Hee) while dressed in surgical attire. Jeong Woo maintains a cold expression, while Ji Yoon’s mother stands with her arms crossed, clearly angry.
Jeong Woo attempts to start the surgery as usual, but he is interrupted by a commotion outside. Ji Yoon’s mother rushes in, demanding that the surgery be halted, creating chaos in the operating room. Tensions rise in the hospital as she voices concerns about possible issues during the procedure.
The two characters clash over whether to proceed with the patient’s surgery. Viewers will be curious about the backstory between Jeong Woo, who wants to fulfill his duties as a doctor, and the mother, who is determined to protect her daughter. The arrival of police indicates the seriousness of the situation.
Despite the chaos, Jeong Woo remains calm and addresses the patient’s family without any change in expression. Since he is known for his exceptional surgical skills, viewers may wonder why he is facing such a strange situation and whether he can proceed with the surgery amid the escalating tension.
The production team said, “‘Face Me’ has a turbulent story unfolding from the first episode. Please look forward to the confrontation between Lee Min Ki and Seo Young Hee as well as the stories of the patients who come to the hospital and the staff who encounter them.”
“Face Me” will premiere on November 6 at 9:50 p.m. KST, taking over the time slot previously occupied by “Dog Knows Everything.”
