25th San Diego Asian Film Festival To Present Screening Of "Victory"
The San Diego Asian Film Festival (SDAFF) is back for its 25th edition!
San Diego’s premier film showcase of Asian American and international cinema founded in 2000, this year’s SDAFF will showcase 170+ films from November 7 through 16.
Included in this year’s lineup is “Victory,” a film about youth starring Hyeri, Park Se Wan, Lee Jung Ha, Jo Aram, and more. The film tells the story of Geoje Commercial High School’s cheerleading team Millennium Girls, where eight team members with unique personalities are gathered. Set against the backdrop of 1999, “Victory” follows passionate best friends Pil Sun (Hyeri) and Mi Na (Park Se Wan) as they form a cheerleading team in order to be able to dance.
“Victory” will be screened at SDAFF on November 9 at 5:45 p.m. PST at the Edwards Mira Mesa Theatre in San Diego.
