Rosé Becomes 1st Female K-Pop Act In Billboard Hot 100 History To Spend Multiple Weeks In Top 15

BLACKPINK’s Rosé continues to make Billboard history with her smash hit “APT.”!

Last week, Rosé set a new record for the highest ranking ever achieved by a female K-pop artist—even including groups—on Billboard’s Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States. “APT.”, her collab single with Bruno Mars, debuted at No. 8 on the chart—making her the first female K-pop act ever to break into the top 10.

On November 5 local time, Billboard revealed that “APT.” had stayed strong at No. 13 in its second consecutive week on the Hot 100.

With this achievement, Rosé has become the first female K-pop artist ever to spend more than one week in the top 15 of the chart.

Meanwhile, “APT.” topped both of Billboard’s global charts for the second week in a row, remaining No. 1 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. chart. The single also ranked No. 6 on the Digital Song Sales chart—meaning it was the sixth best-selling song of the week in the United States—and No. 9 on the Streaming Songs chart.

Additionally, “APT.” rose to a new peak of No. 26 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.

Finally, Rosé ranked No. 79 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking her third overall week on the chart as a soloist.

Congratulations to Rosé!
