Ju Ji Hoon And Jung Yu Mi Tackle The Enemies-To-Lovers Trope In Upcoming Drama “Love Your Enemy”
tvN’s upcoming drama “Love Your Enemy” has unveiled a new poster!
“Love Your Enemy” will tell the story of “arch-nemeses” Seok Ji Won (Ju Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (Jung Yu Mi), who were born on the same day with the same name and whose families have been enemies for generations.
Ju Ji Hoon stars as Seok Ji Won, chairman of Dokmok High School and the longtime nemesis of Yoon Ji Won. Jung Yu Mi plays Yoon Ji Won, a physical education teacher at Dokmok High, who reunites with her high school rival Seok Ji Won after 18 years. Their intense rivalry, which started in high school, reignites, leading to a complicated “frenemy” romance.
The newly released poster shows Seok Ji Won and Yoon Ji Won locked in a tense standoff. Seok Ji Won appears moments away from being pulled by his tie, which Yoon Ji Won holds tightly as they exchange sharp, determined expressions. Their tug-of-war stance reflects the intensity of their 18-year story, caught between love and rivalry, and builds anticipation for their evolving relationship.
Their piercing eye contact suggests that, despite their mutual dislike, they are inevitably drawn to each other. The caption, “An 18-year romance of mortal enemies,” captures their long-running story, with their families locked in rivalry for three generations. The poster teases their journey from high school classmates at 18 to their reunion as chairman and teacher 18 years later, sparking interest in the romance shaped by years of competition.
“Love Your Enemy” premieres on November 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.
