Lim Ji Yeon And Choo Young Woo Lock Eyes In Enchanting Poster For New Drama “The Tale Of Lady Ok”

Upcoming JTBC drama “The Tale of Lady Ok” has shared a romantic new poster!

“The Tale of Lady Ok” tells the intense survival con game of runaway slave Goo Deok Yi (Lim Ji Yeon), who assumes the identity of Lady Ok Tae Young after faking her name, status, and even her husband, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), who risks everything to protect her.

Goo Deok Yi, a slave who chooses to live as a lady, and Cheon Seung Hwi, who hides his past as the eldest son of a prestigious noble family and now lives as a storyteller, form an intriguing duo. The newly released main poster has revealed their first look together.

In the poster, the fake Ok Tae Young, dressed as a refined lady, gazes down at Cheon Seung Hwi while he looks up at her. Their intense, secretive connection sparks curiosity. Their eye contact, framed by a red silk curtain, leaves a lasting impression, hinting at the true emotions of those who live each day as if performing in a play.

The phrase, “A heart that becomes clearer within the lies,” suggests that, amid their struggle for survival, the romance between the fake Ok Tae Young and Cheon Seung Hwi will deepen. Set against the backdrop of a historical drama based on events that rocked Joseon, their bittersweet love story promises to blend beauty and tragedy, raising questions about the hidden truths behind their bond.

“Tale of Lady Ok” is set to premiere on November 30 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
