Watch: Kep1er Covers 2NE1, SEVENTEEN, 4Minute, FTISLAND, And More On "Weekly Idol"
The members of Kep1er faced off in a fun karaoke battle on “Weekly Idol”!
Kep1er appeared as guests on the November 6 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, where they performed their new title track “TIPI-TAP” and played various games together with the show’s MCs.
During the show’s signature karaoke battle, the Kep1er members split up into three teams, and they kept the same teams that they had during their previous appearance on “Weekly Idol.” Dayeon, Yujin, and Huening Bahiyyih—the team that won the karaoke battle last time—reunited to form one team, with Youngeun, Xiaoting, and Hikaru also coming back together as a team. Meanwhile, Chaehyun teamed up with MCs Boom and Golden Child’s Jangjun to form the final team.
During the first round, Dayeon, Yujin, and Huening Bahiyyih covered 4Minute’s Crazy,” while Chaehyun sang FTISLAND’s “I Hope” together with the MCs. Finally, Youngeun, Xiaoting, and Hikaru took on SEVENTEEN BSS’s “Fighting.”
In the second round, the Kep1er members sang NewJeans’ “Ditto,” CNBLUE’s “Love,” and ILLIT’s “Magnetic.” (Only brief snippets of their covers aired during the show.)
Finally, in the tiebreaker round, Chaehyun and the MCs performed Baek Ji Young’s “My Ear’s Candy,” while Dayeon, Yujin, and Huening Bahiyyih covered 2NE1’s “I AM THE BEST.”
