Kim Sung Ryung, Kang Han Na, And Park Soo Young Navigate Their Lives In Upcoming Film “About Family”
Upcoming film “About Family” has dropped new stills featuring Kim Sung Ryung, Kang Han Na and Park Soo Young!
“About Family” tells the story of the owner of Pyungmanok, a popular dumpling restaurant, who suddenly finds himself living with unexpected guests—adorable grandchildren he never knew he had. The owner, Ham Moo Ok (Kim Yun Seok), believed his family line had ended when his son Ham Moon Seok (Lee Seung Gi) became a monk.
Alongside the standout performances of Kim Yun Seok and Lee Seung Gi, who undergo bold transformations, the film also showcases strong acting from Kim Sung Ryung, Kang Han Na, and Park Soo Young, making it a must-see this winter. The newly released stills highlight the unique personalities of their characters, further building anticipation for the film.
Kim Sung Ryung plays Mrs. Bang, a powerful figure who oversees the Pyungmanok business. Without her, the restaurant wouldn’t have reached its success, as she is the only one who can keep Ham Moo Ok in check with her strong presence.
Kang Han Na portrays Han Ga Yeon, who was in a relationship with Ham Moon Seok back in college. Now that Ham Moon Seok is a monk, they are close friends. When a group of children unexpectedly appears before Moon Seok, Ga Yeon is forced to confront her past and reveal her secrets.
Park Soo Young portrays In Haeng, a monk who handles both the personal and professional matters of superstar monk Ham Moon Seok. While managing Moon Seok’s scandal, In Haeng suffers an accident that leaves him with two injured hands, making him a burden to Pyungmanok.
“About Family” is set to hit theaters on December 11.
