Kim So Yeon And Yeon Woo Jin's First Date Doesn't Go As Planned In "A Virtuous Business"

Get ready to feel the butterflies on the next episode of “A Virtuous Business”!

A remake of the British television series “Brief Encounters,” “A Virtuous Business” tells the story of the independence, growth, and friendship of four women who delve into door-to-door sales of adult products in a rural village back in 1992, when it was still taboo to talk about sex.

On the previous episode of “A Virtuous Business,” Kim Do Hyun (Yeon Woo Jin) struggled with his rapidly growing feelings for Han Jung Sook (Kim So Yeon). Whether speechless from being stunned by her beauty or flustered by the slightest physical contact, Do Hyun was no longer able to act normal around her—and so he began avoiding her instead. At the end of the episode, however, Do Hyun finally expressed his feelings for Jung Sook by suddenly embracing her.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, the would-be couple enjoys a romantic first date at an amusement park. As if determined to conquer all of the rides at the park, Do Hyun and Jung Sook quickly go from the merry-go-round to the bumper cars to the Viking ride—where a scared Do Hyun adorably latches onto Jung Sook’s arm out of fear.

The detective also wears a serious expression as he tries to win Jung Sook a prize through the balloon darts game.

However, things don’t quite go according to plan during this first date. The “A Virtuous Business” production team teased, “Today, Jung Sook and Do Hyun will go on their long-awaited first date. It wasn’t easy for Jung Sook and Do hyun to get to this date, but things go wrong from the very beginning. Please look forward to seeing what kind of day will unfold for the two of them.”

They went on, “To add a hint, cold city guy Do Hyun—who usually exudes a cool aura—will show an entirely different side of himself on this date. Do Hyun’s constant fumbling on their first date, which leads to moments that show he’s an amateur at dating, will make viewers’ hearts flutter. Please make sure not to miss Episode 9.”
