"Doubt" And "Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born" Earn Their Highest Saturday Ratings Yet
The weekend drama ratings battle remains as fierce as ever!
On November 9, MBC’s “Doubt”—which has just one episode left in its run—earned its highest viewership ratings to date for a Saturday (when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Fridays). According to Nielsen Korea, the penultimate episode of the mystery thriller scored an average nationwide rating of 6.8 percent.
tvN’s “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” also earned its highest ratings yet for a Saturday (when its ratings are typically lower compared to Sundays). The popular webtoon adaptation took first place in its time slot across all channels—including public broadcast networks—with an average nationwide rating of 12.0 percent.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “The Fiery Priest 2” scored an average nationwide rating of 10.1 percent for its second episode, and JTBC’s “A Virtuous Business” kicked off the final two weeks of its run on a nationwide average of 4.4 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family” continued its reign as the most-watched show of any kind to air on Saturday, when it scored an average nationwide rating of 15.1 percent.
