“Family by Choice” stars Hwang In Youp, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyeon Seong joined Viki for an exclusive live interview!

Earlier on November 7 KST, global OTT platform Rakuten Viki held an YouTube Live broadcast with the three leading stars of “Family by Choice.”

“Family by Choice” is a romance drama that unfolds as Kim San Ha (Hwang In Youp), Yoon Ju Won (Jung Chaeyeon), and Kang Hae Jun (Bae Hyeon Seong), who are not related by blood but spent their teens together while insisting that they are family, reunite after 10 years.

During the live broadcast, Hwang In Youp, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyeon Seong showcased playful chemistry and read fan comments while playing fun games and dishing on their hit drama “Family by Choice.”

Through the Viki Stone Stack segment, the actors revealed interesting information such as what they enjoy doing in their free time and fun behind-the-scenes moments from filming.

Hwang In Youp shared, “While filming romantic scenes, Jung Chaeyeon had a hard time holding in her laughter when our faces got close. The three of us are close like actual siblings. She’s fine when filming with Bae Hyeon Seong, but she says it’s hard to focus when filming with me.”

When asked about which country they want to visit in the future, Jung Chaeyeon replied, “I want to go to Chile. I went before for filming, and I’m not sure this is correct, but I heard Chile is exactly on the opposite side of the world from Korea. I went there for filming, so I want to go to just to have a good time.”

Bae Hyeon Seong thoughtfully added, “I want to visit many countries. I want to visit each country in which viewers are tuning in to [‘Family by Choice’] on Viki.”

Additionally, the trio continued to highlight their sibling-like chemistry, having a blast while teasing each other and responding to fan comments through a Draw & Guess segment as well as a segment in which they tried snacks from all over the world.

When Hwang In Youp quoted a famous line from “Culinary Class Wars,” Bae Hyeon Seong joked that he was late to the trend by declaring the joke “dead.” After a fan commented, “I thought Hyeon Seong oppa was 20 years old. Wow, I’m jealous,” Jung Chaeyeon playfully teased Hwang In Youp by joking, “Oppa, you must be really jealous too.”
