Season 2 of SBS’s “The Fiery Priest” has unveiled a new making-of video!

“The Fiery Priest,” which first aired in 2019 and recorded a peak viewership rating of 22.0 percent, is about a Catholic priest with anger management issues and a cowardly detective who work together to solve a murder case. Kim Nam Gil, Lee Ha Nee, Kim Sung Kyun, and other stars from Season 1 are reprising their roles in Season 2.

The newly released video offers an exciting behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show’s action-packed scenes. In one segment, Kim Nam Gil (who plays Kim Hae Il) provides detailed guidance to Na Sun Wook (who plays Shin Ho Dong) as they rehearse for a fight scene. The atmosphere on set is lively, with staff members and cast playfully mimicking the sounds that Na Sun Wook makes before the fight. As filming begins, the camera swoops and spins to capture the intensity of the action, with both actors flawlessly executing their fight choreography.

In another scene, Kim Hae Il, Goo Dae Young (Kim Sung Kyun), and Oh Yo Han (Go Kyu Pil) gather to discuss their investigation into a disturbing case. When Yo Han asks, “By the way, why are we the ones going after such a horrible case?” Hae Il grabs him by the face and responds, “Just like five years ago, it’s because of the people who don’t do what they’re supposed to do.”

While filming the scene, Kim Nam Gil humorously tightens his grip around Go Kyu Pil’s face in a tough gesture of affection. After the take, Go Kyu Pil removes Kim Nam Gil’s hands from his face and jokes, “Bro, just go home and rest now.”
