“The Tale of Lady Ok” follows the intense survival con game of runaway slave Goo Deok Yi (Lim Ji Yeon), who assumes a false identity, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), who risks everything to protect her.

After escaping from her abusive master, Goo Deok Yi unexpectedly winds up taking on the identity of Lady Ok Tae Young and faking her name, social status, and even her husband.
