Yeon Woo Jin Faces Potential Biological Mother Kim Sung Ryung In "A Virtuous Business"

A remake of the British television series “Brief Encounters,” “A Virtuous Business” tells the story of the independence, growth, and friendship of four women who delve into door-to-door sales of adult products in a rural village back in 1992, when it was still taboo to talk about sex.

The previous episode of “A Virtuous Business” ended on a surprising cliffhanger. After Kim Do Hyun (Yeon Woo Jin) learned that he was not a victim of the serial kidnapper, Han Jung Sook (Kim So Yeon) was shocked to find embroidered baby clothing at Oh Geum Hee (Kim Sung Ryung)’s house that was identical to the clothing Do Hyun was wearing when he was adopted—right down to the embroidered initials.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Do Hyun comes face to face with Geum Hee—who may either be his biological mother or someone who holds the key to his past. The air between them is visibly awkward, with Geum Hee freezing in place as Do Hyun nervously talks to her.
The “A Virtuous Business” production team teased, “The search for Do Hyun’s biological mother is finally racing towards its finish. Is Geum Hee, who has Do Hyun’s baby clothing in her possession, the biological mother for whom he has been searching so desperately? And what sort of history does Geum Hee have that made her insist to Won Bong so fervently before their marriage that she didn’t want kids? We ask that viewers show lots of interest in the remaining two episodes, in which the ending to Do Hyun’s mystery will finally be revealed.”
