Kim Tae Ri, Shin Ye Eun, Jung Eun Chae, And More Share Closing Remarks Ahead Of "Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born" Finale
tvN’s “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” is nearing its finale!
Based on a popular webtoon, “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” is a drama set in the 1950s, shortly after the Korean War. Kim Tae Ri stars as the titular Jeong Nyeon, a young vocal prodigy who dreams of becoming a top traditional theater actor.
Ahead of the finale, the cast members shared their final goodbyes, thanking viewers for tuning in to the show.
Kim Tae Ri shared, “We surpassed both the anticipation from the efforts of all the actors and staff as well as the concerns arising from the unfamiliar subject of women’s gukgeuk (traditional Korean theatrical performance).” She continued, “I am overly satisfied with the love we received from viewers. Please enjoy until the end—the last performance, the change of princes, the farewells, and the continuation of new experiences.”
Shin Ye Eun remarked, “We gave our best for a long time to prepare the project. Amidst that, we experienced joys and sorrows. What gave me a sense of certainty and courage is the viewers.”
Ra Mi Ran teased, “The final episode will also not disappoint anyone. The last performance will be on another scale.”
Jung Eun Chae commented, “I want to convey my sincere gratitude for crying and laughing together with ‘Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born.’ I will continue to act without forgetting the great love [viewers] sent.”
Kim Yoon Hye, who plays Hye Rang, shared, “I think it would be great if you look forward to the conclusion to the crisis of Maeran after its lead performers have left and to Hye Rang, who has collapsed.”
The last episode of “Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born” will air on November 17 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
