Ailee Announces Marriage Plans With Choi Si Hun From “Single’s Inferno”

Ailee, who previously confirmed her relationship with “Single’s Inferno” cast member Choi Si Hun, is officially tying the knot with him next year.

On November 19, Ailee’s agency A2Z Entertainment announced the news of her marriage through an official statement.

The agency stated, “Ailee will marry Choi Si Hun, a businessman and former actor, on April 20 next year. The two met through an acquaintance’s introduction and have been in a romantic relationship for about a year. They decided to marry in May of this year based on their deep affection and trust. After making the decision, they received the blessings of both families. We are grateful to the fans who have sent their congratulations and support since their relationship became public.”

The agency added, “Both Ailee and the agency will ensure that she does not neglect her activities as a singer, including performances, album preparations, and broadcasts, even during the wedding preparations. She also promises to continue her activities with a more mature and responsible attitude after marriage.”

On the same day, Ailee shared a heartfelt letter with fans through her fan café, personally announcing her marriage.

Hello, this is Ailee.

I have some news I want to share directly with my Aileeans (Ailee’s official fan club), who have supported and loved me for the past 12 years. I’m writing this letter with sincerity, carefully choosing each word.

After the news of my relationship was shared earlier this year and so many of you sent your congratulations, I felt a wide range of emotions. Seeing your support, surprise, and even concern made me deeply grateful, but I also felt sorry that I wasn’t able to share the news with you first. I hope you can understand why I had to stay quiet after that, and I sincerely thank my fans once again for waiting patiently until today.

At the young age of 22, I came to Korea alone, leaving my family behind, and stood before you with the music I love. From then until now, your unwavering support and love have been what helped me adapt to life in Korea and kept me from feeling lonely. Thanks to the love you nurtured me with, I was able to grow into the person I am today. Now, I’ve met someone with whom I can share all that love. As the eldest daughter, I’ve always cared for and sacrificed for others. Now, I’ve met someone who allows me to lean on them and gives me support. This understanding and considerate person made me want to spend the rest of my life with them. After a year of dating, we have decided to hold our wedding next April.

Although I was lacking in many ways when I debuted and still feel the same today, I am endlessly grateful for the love and support you have given me. I will never forget this feeling and will work even harder to live with more maturity and dedication. I hope you will cheer for our future and we promise to live happily.
