Jung Chaeyeon Witnesses Hwang In Youp And Kim Hye Eun's Twisted Mother-Son Relationship In "Family By Choice"

JTBC’s “Family by Choice” has dropped new stills capturing a tense three-way confrontation involving Hwang In Youp, Kim Hye Eun, and Jung Chaeyeon!

“Family by Choice” is a JTBC romance drama about three people who reconnect after spending 10 years living together as a family and another 10 years living apart as strangers. During their adolescence, Kim San Ha (Hwang In Youp), Yoon Ju Won (Jung Chaeyeon), and Kang Hae Jun (Bae Hyeon Seong) are raised together by Kim San Ha’s father Kim Dae Uk (Choi Moo Sung), and Yoon Ju Won’s father Yoon Jeong Jae (Choi Won Young).

Previously, Kim San Ha left behind Yoon Ju Won and his beloved family to head to Seoul to take care of his mother Kwon Jung Hee (Kim Hye Eun), who got injured by an unexpected accident. 10 years passed, and upon returning to Haedong City, Kim San Ha confessed his long-held feelings to Yoon Ju Won. As they started spending exciting days together as lovers, the first obstacle that the couple must overcome has appeared: Kim San Ha’s mother.

The newly released stills capture the uncomfortable meeting between Kim San Ha, Kwon Jung Hee, and Yoon Ju Won.

Yoon Ju Won, who comes to see San Ha, unexpectedly comes across San Ha with his mother Jung Hee. Kwon Jung Hee’s cold expression, having never smiled at her son since the death of her daughter, and Kim San Ha’s look of utter despair reflect the harsh reality of their mother-son relationship.
