Jung Gun Joo Starts At The Bottom As A Trainee At His Father’s Inn In Upcoming Drama “Check In Hanyang”
Channel A’s upcoming drama “Check in Hanyang” has offered a sneak peek of Jung Gun Joo’s character!
Set in the Joseon Dynasty, “Check in Hanyang” is a historical romance drama that depicts the growth and love stories of youths who join as “interns” at Yongcheonlu, the largest inn in Joseon.
Jung Gun Joo plays Cheon Jun Hwa, the only son of Master Tae Sang (Kim Eui Sung), the owner of Yongcheonlu. Despite being the heir, Cheon Jun Hwa starts as a trainee. By stepping down from his privileges, he begins his training and will grow alongside the “Gang of Four Buts,” a troublesome group at Yongcheonlu who always start their sentences with “But.”
Cheon Jun Hwa stands out with his dignified attire and graceful presence, fitting for the heir to Joseon’s largest inn. Described in the script as having broad shoulders and an elegant appearance, he perfectly embodies the character.
Other photos show Cheon Jun Hwa living his life as a trainee with his colleagues. Despite the demanding and hectic routine, his bright eyes suggest he is strangely enjoying the experience. His calm and relaxed demeanor only adds to his charm, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
The production team commented, “Jung Gun Joo perfectly brings Cheon Jun Hwa to life, matching the script’s description of his broad shoulders and elegant appearance. Through his thorough preparation, he has captured not only Cheon Jun Hwa’s look but also his personality. We hope viewers will enjoy Jung Gun Joo’s passionate performance.”
