Upcoming film “Bogota: City of the Lost” has released its first teaser and confirmed its premiere date!

Directed by Kim Sung Je, “Bogota: City of the Lost” is a crime thriller that tells the story of Guk Hee (Song Joong Ki), who, in the wake of the IMF crisis, heads to Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, with new hopes. There, he becomes entangled with Soo Young (Lee Hee Joon), a customs broker, and Sergeant Park (Kwon Hae Hyo), a key figure in the Korean community in Bogotá.

Song Joong Ki stars as Guk Hee, who loses everything in the IMF crisis and moves to Bogotá. He is joined by Kim Jong Soo as Guk Hee’s father Geun Tae, Lee Hee Joon as Soo Young, and Kwon Hae Hyo as Sergeant Park.

The cast also features Park Ji Hwan as Sergeant Park’s nephew and Jo Hyun Chul as Jae Woong, adding to the film’s strong ensemble.

The teaser clip below opens with Guk Hee narrating, “Colombia, a one-line explanation in the geography textbook: ‘it is the country of coffee.’” The scene shifts to Guk Hee working in a dangerous environment, immersed in the country’s harsh realities. Then, Sergeant Park’s voice rings out, “Guk Hee, be sure to survive and make it to District 6.”

But a menacing voice interrupts, saying, “Do you really think you can make it past District 1? No, you can’t,” as intense action scenes unfold. The teaser ends with a bloodied Guk Hee, his voice firm and resolute as he says, “I have to survive and reach District 6.”
