"Family by Choice" Tops Viewership Rankings In 140 Regions On Viki

“Family by Choice” is on a roll ahead of its final broadcast!

According to global OTT (over-the-top) platform Rakuten Viki, “Family by Choice” ranked first in viewership across 140 regions worldwide during its sixth week of airing (from November 13 to November 19). Notably, it maintained the top spot for six consecutive weeks in 88 regions including the United States, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and India.

Previously on November 7, lead actors Hwang In Youp, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyeon Seong joined Rakuten Viki for an exclusive live interview where they showcased playful chemistry while proving the drama’s strong global fan base. On that day, the actors not only participated in fun challenges but also answered various fan-submitted questions while interacting with fans live.

“Family by Choice” is a romance drama about three people who reconnect after spending 10 years living together as a family and another 10 years living apart as strangers.

Rakuten Viki is a global OTT platform that provides video streaming services for Asian dramas and films in more than 190 regions around the world. In addition to “Family by Choice,” Viki currently services many other recent K-dramas such as “Love in the Big City,” “Brewing Love,” and “Love Your Enemy” and is gearing up to launch various new K-dramas in December including “Check in Hanyang” and “Namib.”

The last two episodes of “Family by Choice” will air on November 27 at 8:50 p.m.
