Go Hyun Jung, Yoon Sang Hyun, And Lee Jin Woo Are A Happy Family Shattered By An Unexpected Accident In New Drama “Namib”

ENA’s upcoming drama “Namib” has offered a sneak peek into the complex family dynamic between Go Hyun Jung, Yoon Sang Hyun, and Lee Jin Woo!

“Namib” depicts the meeting of former entertainment agency CEO Kang Soo Hyun (Go Hyun Jung) and longtime trainee Yoo Jin Woo (Ryeoun), who gets kicked out of his agency, as they each head toward their own goals.

Kang Soo Hyun and Shim Joon Seok (Yoon Sang Hyun) are a married couple who once shared a dream as business partners. Together, they made a great team as an idol producer and music producer. Now, they work together at home, raising their cherished only son Shim Jin Woo (Lee Jin Woo) and living a peaceful life.

However, their world is shaken when Shim Jin Woo unexpectedly loses his hearing in an accident. The once-happy family begins to unravel as Kang Soo Hyun and Shim Joon Seok clash over their differing values, and their conflicts intensify.

Kang Soo Hyun feels responsible for the accident and hastily plans to secure her son’s future, placing pressure on both herself and her son. Meanwhile, Shim Joon Seok is exhausted by his wife’s stubbornness as she makes decisions without consulting him.

Their son, Shim Jin Woo, wants to escape the overprotectiveness of both his mother, who is focused on his future, and his father, who quit his job for him. This growing desire to break free deepens the emotional rifts within the family and raises questions about their future.

“Namib” will premiere on December 23 at 10 p.m. KST.
