Shin Dong Yup, Kim Hye Yoon, and Bona will be hosting this year’s SBS Drama Awards!
On December 3, the 2024 SBS Drama Awards officially announced that Shin Dong Yup, Kim Hye Yoon, and WJSN’s Bona will be hosting this year’s awards show.
Shin Dong Yup, who has become a symbol of the SBS Drama Awards, will continue his role as MC for the eighth consecutive year. Known for his reliable and stable hosting skills and witty demeanor, he is expected to bring great entertainment to the awards show.
Kim Hye Yoon and Bona have become the new faces of the SBS Drama Awards. Both actors have been confirmed to star as the main characters in upcoming SBS dramas— “Human Starting from Today” (literal title) and “Gwigoong” (romanized title), respectively—making their participation as MCs even more meaningful.

On December 2, STAR NEWS reported that Kim Hye Yoon will be hosting the 2024 SBS Drama Awards.
In response to the report, Kim Hye Yoon’s agency Artist Company confirmed, “It is true that Kim Hye Yoon will be an MC for the 2024 SBS Drama Awards.”
This will be Kim Hye Yoon’s first time hosting a drama awards ceremony. Shin Dong Yup will be reportedly joining Kim Hye Yoon as a co-MC, marking his eighth year hosting the show.
Having garnered great attention through her hit drama “Lovely Runner” earlier this year, Kim Hye Yoon is gearing up to star alongside Lomon in SBS’s new fantasy rom-com drama “Human Starting from Today” (literal title) in 2025.
