“Parole Examiner Lee” is about lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. The drama also stars Girls’ Generation’s Yuri as detective Ahn Seo Yun, the ace of the Violent Crimes Unit.

In the previous episode, Yang Bok Gyu (Park No Shik), who was paroled under a work condition, was falsely accused of stealing a watch belonging to Yong Jin Sang (Woo Hyun), the CEO of Yong Geol Industries. Desperate to clear his name, Yang Bok Gyu tragically took his own life. Lee Han Shin, who had known Yang Bok Gyu during his time as a prison guard, resolved to uncover the truth behind the incident. Observing Yong Jin Sang’s behavior, Lee Han Shin suspected him of being a gambler and enlisted the help of Choi Hwa Ran (Baek Ji Won) to set up an illegal gambling den as a trap.

When the hastily arranged players failed to deceive Yong Jin Sang, Lee Han Shin was forced to step in as a player himself.

The newly released stills show Lee Han Shin being arrested at the gambling den by detective Ahn Seo Yun. The tense expressions of Choi Hwa Ran and Yong Jin Sang vividly convey the urgency of the unexpected raid.

Notably, Lee Han Shin, Ahn Seo Yun, and Choi Hwa Ran had previously worked together as a team to prevent the parole of an investment scammer. This makes Ahn Seo Yun’s firm decision to arrest Lee Han Shin even more intriguing.
